Review: The Heart of Betrayal

The Heart of BetrayalThe Heart of Betrayal by Mary E. Pearson

I was riveted throughout this book. As so many other reviewers mention, the twists and turns are marvelous to behold and well-executed.

I love far too many of the characters for my own good and am wildly impatient for the next book, as there are an awful lot of loose strings to tie up. That being said, this still felt like a complete story, as opposed to a book split into two parts only to sell more copies. This is one of those books that makes me toy again with re-adopting my rule to only read series once they have been completed so I’m not left hanging for another year.
