This year, inspired by One Action events, the Lafayette Library created an initiative Different Voices: Be Part of the Conversation, a forum for those in our community who are not frequently heard in mainstream media and culture.
The final program we are promoting for this is a Community Book Read. We invite the entire community as well as local book groups to read The Book of Unknown Americans, then join us in a giant group discussion at the Library on Wednesday, December 7, at 6 pm. Enjoy the discussion, and the opportunity to discover and meet existing local book groups.
