- Symptoms of Being Human by Jeff Garvin – A gender-fluid student deals with bullying, identity questions, and his father’s congressional re-election campaign while transferring to a new school.
- Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton – A Wild-West adventure set in a Middle Eastern backdrop. Another series-starter.
- Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas – #5 in the Throne of Glass series.
