With fall officially here, it is also time for BVSD’s yearly Battle of the Books program for kids in grades 3-12! The library is excited to again support and promote this program.

But wait…what is the Battle of the Books?
BoB is a quiz-bowl competition where students work on teams to read books from this year’s list. Students can read independently or with an adult, or listen to audiobook versions. Schools hold competitions, culminating in a district competition in April. The program encourages students to work as a team and embrace award-winning literature, and fosters a love of reading!
