We Stand on the Shoulders of Giants

This year we said goodbye to three fearless literary giants; Dick Jackson, Lee Bennett Hopkins, and Toni Morrison. Their presence as writers, editors and teachers made it possible for us to see so much further than we could have on our own, and so we are grateful for the gifts of their lives.
