Escape From Planet Zorb

By Annabelle, 4th Grade

Hi, I’m Mark Cott, and right now, I’m sitting in a jail cell In outer space, with security cameras making sure I don’t get out. And you might ask HOW I got here, I’ll tell you all about it… I was playing football in my front yard. I was about to catch the ball when a big twinkling circle appeared in the sky. Before I could say anything, it sent down a light beam, and sprayed something wet in my face. I tried to say something, but all I could do was mumble. Oh great. I’ve been abducted by I don’t know what. And I’m locked in a cage. There, That’s how I got here. I’ve been here for two months, and if I don’t get out, I’ll scream.

I’ve got to escape! hold on… there’s a loose bar in my cage! If I can tear it out, I might be able to knock the other bars down! I run to the bar and pulled with all my strength. Clank! It popped out! I swing at the bars with all my might. Clank! Clank! There’s enough room for me to get out! I go into the hallway, but I don’t get far. One of the alien guards aims a laser gun at me. A gun pointed at my face. A laser blasted out of it. Lasers gave way to pain, and pain gave way to darkness, I realized that I would never, ever get out of here.
