Additional years of the Lafayette Leader, 1929 to 1936, have been added to the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection (CHNC). You can access Lafayette newspapers in the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection via our website.
The digitized newspapers can be searched by keyword or browsed by date. Check out the links and play around with the CHNC features; once you choose a particular issue, the contents are listed on the left-hand side of the screen. The initial image often appears too small to read, but there is a zoom icon in the upper, right-hand corner of the scanned image. Click on that icon to increase size of the view.
