Ah, September – The in-between month that gets overlooked. You spend most of the month either missing summer break or looking forward to Halloween. But hey, there’s plenty to love about September – like snow! What??
Trapped inside because of heat, ash, rain, or snow (enough already 2020!), then check out these books recommended by our Teen Team Volunteers!

The Boys Who Challenged Hitler – “I enjoyed this book very much and recommend it to anyone who likes nonfiction or is interested in World War Two. In the book, Knud Pedersen, a Danish teen, is not pleased with his government. He starts a club dedicated to sabotaging the German occupiers in Denmark, and his club is noticed worldwide. I would rate this book 4.5 out of 5 stars, because it was very interesting and was told very well. The book uses kind’s own account as well as the author’s own storyline. In the book, there are fact files too, which teach readers about other topics happening during the war. I really liked this book and would recommend it to readers of all ages, as it was not violent at all.”

11 before 12 by Lisa Greenwald – “it is a light beach read that is fun and happy for tween girls and Monster which was amazing!”

Eragon, by Christopher Paolini – “I really enjoyed this book because it really blends a lot of action and adventure with character development and dialogue! I love this book! ”

This is Where it Ends – “it is so good. It’s not a super tough read but it’s very emotional and relevant to today’s world. It’s about a school shooting and it’s from four students’ perspectives.”
