“I love the Lafayette Library because it is all about easy access to learning. Mostly learning through reading, but also learning through classes, workshops and connections. At the Lafayette Library, you can learn about anything housed in the content of its books or programming. You also learn how to be a citizen and a member of the community.
My favorite library story is when Parks and Wildlife did an educational presentation on snakes. They brought pictures and talked about animal behavior, as a few reptilian friends. It was informative, fun and engaging. It also helped me to appreciate some of our local wildlife and their importance as part of our ecosystem.” – Heidi M.
