“I work at the library and I love our library because it is central to our community. I enjoy getting to know customers, working with kids and youth, building relationships with an amazing staff and great leadership who value learning, equality and fun!
I read books and have come to love audio books, which I can listen to while I engage in hobbies. I also love our e-magazines!
My favorite memories about the library are story times, especially stuffy story times. I miss the Summer time Stuffy story time with a cowboy theme. I also love taking care of the galleries and having local art presented to our community.
I have really missed getting to interact with customers face to face and finding new and fun ways to help them grow and enjoy Lafayette. I appreciate getting to have more time with co-workers and getting to know them more personally. Our sense of teamwork has skyrocketed!”
