“Our Chemical Hearts” by Krystal Sutherland
Rating: 3/5 stars
I enjoyed this book but it was a bit slow to get into. It’s a romantic novel but it doesn’t seem like there will be a happy ending at the end of it. I would recommend it to those who enjoy sad romance novels.
“Code Name Verity” by Elizabeth Wein
Rating: 4/5 stars
This book is written in the form of a diary from the point of view of a captured British spy during the second world war. I really enjoyed this book and I definitely recommend it to those who love history and learning about the second world wars. The protagonists are interesting and easy to like and keep up with.

“Stay sweet” by Siobhan Vivian
This is a wonderful read that has friendship, love and icecream. In a small town there are few things to look forward to in the summer. But not for the meade creamery girls, because they spend all summer selling ice cream and having fun. Until a new owner comes in an takes over the business, and chaos strikes. Overall a great read.
“Moxie” – Netflix
I just watched this movie and its spectacular. Its about feminism and standing up for what you believe in, in a little town in a small high school. An awesome movie, and definitely inspiring. A must watch.

“Merlin” – DVD, Netflix
Rating: 5/5
Merlin is a dramatic retelling of Arthurian legend, told when Merlin and Arthur are young men trying to reconcile personal choice with their destiny. The special effects are very reminiscent of 2008 (so to say: not very good!), but the show is humorous and fun, and the characters are both infuriating and lovable in the best way. The special effects probably deserve 2 stars, but the show is so entertaining, it gets 5 stars from me.

“The Line Tender” by Kate Allen
Rating: 4/5 stars
This was a super interesting read! It’s scattered with marine biology facts and other interesting biology and science references while tackling a fascinating overarching plot. Another beautiful touch to the story is the stunning sketches since the main character is an artist. It’s a story about handling grief and moving on while still carrying on the legacy of those you’ve lost.
“Elatsoe” by Darcie Little Badger
Rating: 4.3/5
Another shorter read filled with beautiful illustrations and a unique story. This book has the perfect balance of lore, action, and world-building to make it difficult to put down. Overall it’s a fantasy mystery genre which is the perfect pair for making a captivating plot and storyline. The unique take on Native American culture and different classic fantasy and paranormal creatures form a perfect mix of whimsical and mysterious! Can I interest you in ghost dogs and vampires?
