Your Library, Your Story

During the early days of the pandemic, we reached out to ask you for your stories about the Library. We are so happy to have been back open this year, and would like to hear from you again, or for the first time!

We believe Libraries = Strong Communities and that the story of a library is the story of the people who use it. We are currently collecting stories, quotes, and memories about what the Lafayette Library represents and means to our community. We would love to hear from you. Please take a moment to share your story using the form below.

Examples of what we are looking for:

  • Why you love the Lafayette Public Library
  • How you use the Lafayette Public Library
  • What makes the Lafayette Public Library special to you
  • Favorite memories about visiting the Library, using services, and attending programs
  • What you missed about the Lafayette Public Library during the closure
